Air-Sea Battle played in the Stella Emulator over a two day period in late May 2021. All games are played in the A / Expert difficulty setting and switch position is checked before each game. The Expert setting can also be seen in-game by the presence of the small missiles instead of the large ones.

Air-Sea Battle was one of the launch titles for the Atari VCS in 1977 and was written by Larry Kaplan. There are 27 game variations on the cartridge, in six basic categories: Anti-aircraft, Torpedo, Fairground Shooting Gallery, Polaris (your ship versus fleets of aircraft), Bomber (your aircraft versus fleets of ships and finally, Ship vs Aircraft one-on-one.

This is one of the games I had as a child and I played it loads. Revisiting it here was good fun and very nostalgic. Even if you don't have the nostalgia glasses from playing it when you were young, it is still a good game today despite it's age and basic nature. If you can find another human to play against, you can have a good battle. Each game lasts only a few minutes, so it is a perfect quick stress relief aid for the busy modern day player!
