There is nothing controversial about asking for video to justify being recognized for a world record. Even casual players don't like playing on an uneven playing field that frequently happens when there are a lack of standards ... to wit:

Of course you're welcome here ... just like you're welcome at Zur Haxe ... but if you go to Zur Haxe, they will expect you to NOT arrive there naked. That doesn't mean they are "too serious" about their environment ... it simply means they are protecting their other patrons, regardless if their other patrons are serious or casual. And please, your gaslighting everyone with your concluding statement doesn't escape the attention of others. Probably not prudent if receiving votes is your objective.
If merely having a repository for your performances is your objective, you can create a spreadsheet. This is a high score site.

For me it seems to be a controverse here (and also at highscore.com) between serious highscore hunters, who make a great effort to make evidences of their scores and casual gamers, who only want to have some fun. Me as a casual gamer with low scores don't feel very welcome here, when I have to make videos and upload them somewhere.
But you - the voters - decide. If you want to have a growing community, demanding video evidence is the wrong way to go.
