Breakout was released to the arcades in 1976. The game was developed by Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, following an idea from Nolan Bushnell and Steve Bristow.

Use your ball to demolish a wall of bricks. The cabinet artwork depicts some prisoners, so presumably you are trying to escape your cell! The game offers both 3 and 5 ball variations, selectable by DIP switches in the menu.

This run was played using the Steam version of Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration on PC. The date of play was the 20th July 2025. The final score was 117, using the 5 ball option.
