Fire Galaxy is a fixed shooter for the Commodore 16. It was released in 1987 by Kingsoft and written by Henrik Wening.

The game is a bit like Galaga, except that the enemy never forms up into a fleet. Instead there are streams of enemies that criss-cross the screen and fire at you. Every few screens there is a bonus stage, where they do not fire back and a bonus is awarded for how many enemies you hit. The all white squadrons of enemies award a power up if they are totally destroyed.

This is a simple, but otherwise well put together game. The Commodore 16 was intended as a replacement for the VIC-20 and a game such as this one exemplifies that philosophy perfectly. Three skill levels - Normal, Fast and Slow add a little variety to the gameplay.

This run was made on the 26th April 2025. A fast game is selected (F1 pressed). The final score reached was 12,750.
