Yep it's a great sequel to Smash TV "which is a sequel to Robotron"
I'm not sure when I first learned about it, seems like I always knew lol. The arcade I use to go to in the 90s was educational. It had so much but Im sure i was un able to keep up with its intensity and didnt get into it, except the nights it was on freeplay. I miss that arcade so much, it was called Galaxy World, it was arcade and bowling and the arcade was just as big as the bowling alley. I liked the Racing games best like Outrun and the Cruis'n games.
It was all there until the 2000s with games from the 80s 90s and 00s. Great times.
They had an event called Lock In where they would lock you in the arcade from around midnight till 6 am with all the games on freeplay for a small fee. So parents could bring their kids there and know they'd still be there the next morning lol.. I can't picture that happening today. They had zip ties on the door handles and not many employees around. The last one I went to I was old enough to want to smoke in the bathroom.🌱
Later i enjoyed Total Carnage with Super Nintendo emulation and then Atari Jaguar emulation. The Jaguar looks very close to the arcade : ) .
I've always been a big fan of Smash TV with Sega Genesis. And I had Robotron on Sega Saturn of all things... and played the heck out of it. Back when I had Saturn.
Last year I got Robotron and Smash TV for XBOX with the first Midway Treasures, I still haven't beaten GTi's score, and took forever for me to beat his Smash TV score.
I have to be carefull today. I tense up so much I get headache. Total Carnage is so fun but my head might expload if I go too far!! 🤯

💣🔫🧨💥🫡🇺🇸 Yes it is indeed a hard game but boy is it a blast to play! I’d never played it back in the day so it’s another “treasure” I discovered on MAT2. Definitely took me more than 7 tries to get my score, you da man!

I took Insane4games lead and went with the warp door bonus. It took me at least 7 tries for this score. Tough and fun game !
