Yea they really went out of their way to throw new formula in with the puzzle game genre. The game mechanics are hard to decipher. I’ve had the same thing happen to me on stage 2 when I get a ridiculous combo on stage 1. Stage 2 guy can be harder than 3 and onwards if that happens, at least for me..

Interesting, I wonder what triggers that? I have played literally 100’s of times and I have never had that happen, I think I’ve had maybe 37 seconds one time but nothing below that. Guess I’ll just to keep trying lol

This time on stage 1 I won with an ultra awesome hard hitting combo "on top of the A.I. being stupid again."
But this made stage 2 go crazy hard and kill me. So if you perform super well on stage 1 with a big combo killer it seems to punish you the next stage. I've never had stage 2 be so difficult. Interesting how the game works.

It happened to me just now! Exactly the same. But then I didn't play well on the other stages so I didn't make gold, and I forgot to film the option settings anyhow.. so ima keep at it. β€οΈ

Oh, me neither. I was lucky, really lucky with stage 1. The CPU player killed himself really early giving me a huge bonus time. I had to rewatch the video to see what happened and if it wasn't a glitch or so. But he made some errors in my favor. Never happened afterwards though π€
