If programmed well it easily can outstand the ZX Spectrum/Amstrad/C64. Certainly with the SCC synth chip which you hear in this game.
Unless you get those lazy European Spectrum conversions which we saw a lot here in Europe.
Only the scrolling seems to be more sluggish most of the time.
Go for an MSX2 if you buy one.
