Yup. It's basically the same game except there's 2 extra opponents on the track.
I use to have RC Pro Am for NES and recall getting to the car section, but with this Genesis version I haven't got passed the jeeps! So it seems tougher imo.
It starts with trucks, then goes to jeeps, then to cars. But takes serious skill to get to the car part. "At least without continues"

Cool, this looks like I hoped it would! Not straying from r.c. pro-am. I got this game years ago but I don't think I've played it yet.
