It is the right video. In this game, the "Koopalings" like Wendy are treated as simple skins or alts to the main character, in this case Bowser Jr.
Using Bowser Jr. or any of the other 7 Koopalings does not alter the gameplay of the character in any way. It is purely visual. You can also see how some others here did not use Bowser Jr., like CMDR Karkula who used Larry (also a Koopaling). :)

Thanks man! It can be done with a lot of practice. I have many years of practice with this mode across 3 games (Started with Brawl), and even though the Home-Run Contest mode has changed over the course of the series, many of the tactics and strategies have carried over, and the objective has remained the same. I'm sure you can develop a better strategy if you give it enough time. :)
