• zsnes (all versions) and snes9x emulators <=1.53 banned because inaccuracy in timing • super start allowed (pushed by other cars at start) • shortcuts allowed • practice mode: rival allowed • for best lap : use of 4 boosts on same lap allowed (1 just before the finish line on 4th lap and 3 others on last lap) • records menu is a mix of gp and practice time (pink = practice / blue = GP) • try again is allowed (3 lives = 3 retries maximum) • use of pause when the timer is started is forbidden • use of turbo button controller is forbidden |

Mute City 1 is the first and maybe easiest track on Fzero.
No brake tapping trick used on this run.
Speed run tips :
- Use the Fire Stingray car. (fastest max speed)
- Keep all your Super Jet "S" for the last lap.
- Because there's 4 Super Jet bonus and a maximum of 3, use the first "S" before enter the last lap, so you will have a "extra speed bonus".
- The last hairspin turn is tricky so you need to practice on it for get the best path.
