Whatever the reason it's irritating to lose a ball right after launching it. By-the-way the name of the YouTube channel that I mentioned is Pinball Expert. Like I mentioned he's a dealer in Australia.

That's actually something a lot of the newer tables let the operator adjust. Even down to frequency of extra balls, multiball, the number of default balls, and a whole lot more. I know because I subscribe to someone in Australia who's a dealer, and he did a video about what settings to use when setting up a machine for location. If I remember correctly he advised to set the machine to :45 seconds (or the maximum a machine will allow) so that new players won't be turned off by losing a ball right after they launch it.

Yea, that happens with me. I'll have a really good ball and then the next one will drain almost as soon as I've launched it.
