Strawberry Fields is a Snake-like action game for the BBC Micro. It was written by Johan Paul Hendriks and published by JBF Software in 1992. This is a development of Blokkendoos and shares a lot of the same characteristics.

As in Blokkendoos, your character must avoid all the wall sections on each screen. Unlike Blokendoos, this time you do not leave a trail behind you. Instead, you have to collect the fruit on each screen, the number of which increases on each level. Everytime you collect a piece of fruit a block is added to the screen, so it starts easy but soon gets tricky. The last 'fruit' on the screen is the JBF logo. Collect that to go to the next level.

Another variation on Snake, and like Blokendoos it is very fast which is where the main challenge is. Nothing really new or revolutionary, but a nice little development of the original Blokkendoos game.

This run was made on the 31st July 2026 using the Pantheon emulator on PC. There are no skill levels. The final score reached was 50 points.
