Invaders by Program Factory is a home port of the classic Taito arcade game for the Oric 16K or 48K. It was released in 1983.
Another Space Invaders game. This one is interesting in that it is almost identical to the version by Arcadia. There are a few graphic swaps, but other than that they are the same. I don't know what the story is here, but I'm guessing it went to one company, they went bust or ceased selling it, then the other picked it up to fill a gap in their range. It's an ok, version, just like the Arcadia one. Not the best Invaders, but it does give you a version of Invadets to play, though a very difficult one. The versions by IJK and PSS are better.
This game was played using an Oric 48K emulated in Oricutron. The date of play was the 20th July 2026. There are no selectable skill levels. The final score was 480 points - exactly what I got when playing the Arcadia version, appropriately enough.
Time stamps:
00:30 Previous game over, ready to start the next one.
00:34 Game begins.
00:58 First life lost.
01:02 Second life lost.
01:24 Third life lost. Game Over! Final score 480 points.
