Star Wars Arcade is a game for the Sega 32X, released in 1994 by Sega as one of the launch titles for the system. It is based on the 1993 arcade game, being slightly inferior graphically and speedwise on the home hardware.
I didn't really know the controls for this one so didn't get beyond the first stage. It looked like it was good game if you knew how to operate the controls (I didn't find out at the time how to slow down and speed up for example).
The Retro Collective Museum example is set up as a 'Tower of Power' which can be seen in some of the images. On the bottom is the Mega-CD, in the middle is the MegaDrive and on top is the 32X add-on. The museum did a video on the system which you can see here (recommended!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrPOMsn3BZM
This game was played at the Retro Collective, Stroud, UK on the 4th October 2025. Arcade / Rebel Attack / Pilot only was selected (this is basically the default options). The final score was 6,000 points as the Force was NOT with me during play.
