Wow! I never realised there is a category for this. I've had this, ever since it came out. Will need to give it a go! Anyway, Yes!

After Burner is a handheld game released by Tiger Electronics. It came in two versions, a handheld and a tabletop. The UK variant of the tabletop version was released in 1990. The game follows the concept and gameplay of the arcade game. I didn't get very far as I couldn't really understand how to avoid enemy fire. As far as I can tell you can only move side to side.
This game was played, briefly, at the Retro Collective, Stroud, UK on the 4th October 2025. There are no selectable skill levels in the game.
The images show:
1. The full game with my logo.
2. The screen before play. The barely readable text shows Stage 1 and 3 lives.
3. A close up of the screen after losing. Game Over is displayed and a score of just 700.
