Cacorm is an interesting addition to the Inufuto collection of games. This version is for the Oric 48K and was released in August 2022. The program was written by Inufuto as part of a multiplatform project that uses a common format for producing the games and a machine specific interpreter/library for making the main program run on that specific machine.

The game elements were quite new to me. Your character has to collect all the gold stars in the maze by drawing a line around them. There are also ghosts in the maze and contact with them will cost you a life. Collect all the gold stars and it is on to the next screen. The game draws elements from old arcade games such as Qix and Snake.

This is another Inufuto game that I really enjoyed. If you can draw around more than one star at a time, you can score more points, so the game encourages you to take more risks attempting to do so. The ghosts also cannot cross your line (maybe it is holy chalk?) so clever gameplay can give you space to move around the screen in more safety.

This run was made on the 30th June 2025 using the Oricutron emulator on PC. There are no adjustable skill levels and the final score was 3,900.

Time stamps:
00:30 Title screen.
00:35 Game start.
00:58 First life lost.
01:10 Stage 1 complete.
01:45 Stage 2 complete.
02:20 Stage 3 complete.
02:42 Second life lost.
02:52 Third life lost. Game Over! Final score 3,900 points.
