No code modifications that give the player an advantage over other players. 1 credit. No continues. 1 player mode only. No use of trainers, cheats, auto-fire (when not default present in-game) , game saves, or cheat codes. Can be overruled by the Specific Rules. It is discouraged and may lead to voters not accepting your score to: - excessively point farm - use glitches or other game exploits Game must be played on an original PAL machine. |

Must be played on the US version (released by Mindscape) You can't take advantage of frame glitches that would result in skipping a level, or awarding the end bonus multiple times, or when completing the game at zero seconds exactly at the last frame, it awards maxed out bonus (50x). All these runs, no matter if done on purpose or by accident, must be disqualified. This version can be identified by having a course selection screen and the lady in the car has yellow hair. On game over this version also includes the classic map overview, showing the track and distance driven. This last one is not entirely exclusive to the US version though, due to a hacked European version also including this scene. |
