Specific Rules: The game has by default NO (or slow) autofire. Only when you catch an autofire pod. Please be honest and post your autofire/turbo submission in the 'autofire used' variation.
Western versions start on a difficulty level that you encounter after half of the game or even later in japanese version. The enemies are somewhat faster too.
How to see the difference: Title screen for Famicom version is licensed '1985 Tehkan and Hudson Soft'. World version (NES) title screen is licensed '1987 Tecmo / Nintendo of America Inc.'.

Yeah, Astro Warrior was 1986 on the SMS, while Star Force on the NES was 1985.

There was an SG-1000 version released in 1985 and you can see why they had to quickly create the Master System when you compare the NES and SG-1000 versions. The NES is so much better.
