I am using Spectaculator emulator for years and it's the best emulator for all ZX Spectrum machines without any doubts!!!
Easy for use and emulates any model of existing Sinclaire machine with high accuracy!!!
Other option is Retro Virtual Machine and it's also very easy to use emulator for all variety of Sinclair's machines!!!

the C64 version is the best, it's real fun playing this one. The jeep level on Amiga is a pain because of the holes in the bridge taking account of the whole sprite lenght, so even if your tyres on the road, you'll explode if a pixel of your car is above the hole. this does not happen on the C64 version.
But once, you passed the jeep stage, the game becomer easier with the chopper, even if army moves is not an easy game.
I really enjoyed the C64 version, the Amiga version is good but has problems and the music is really annoying after 5/6 runs, the others ports are a shame and mostly unplayable. Special Mention to Amstrad CPC & MSX versions only playable on keyboard with 2 buttons to fire (one to fire forward, and one to fire in the sky), it hurts hands like hell after a while because you are constantly spamming the keys to avoid enemie choppers to fire.
Level lenghts also varie which is weird, Amiga has the more average stage lenghts, C64 have shorter levels, CPC & MSX have the longer ones, scoring is also different depending on the version. Weird stuff but I had fun testing all the ports existing, except the ZX one, because I don't really know how to emulate this one. (I tried an emulator for 10 minutes but was stuck on the BASIC startup screen and gave up, I might try to download the user manual to know how to operate this computer)

Thanks, I am not so familiar with this game...
I have just started with Amiga version and now I am exploring C64 version, which looks much better and colorful than Amiga's version... Also better gameplay with C64 version... ZX version is terrible and looks like in slow motion... So I will check it out for other ports versions and see what will I choose to play....
