I guess you could try Lemon64's database. You can choose genre and release year. Games are then listed by how many points users have given: https://www.lemon64.com/games/votes_list.php

I would like to find some website with 25 top games for every type of game (shooter, platformers...) for the C64, maybe it'll help me like this system better.

My selection is definitely not very good quality :-) I'm mostly submitting C64-games, where is not yet any scores, so practically just filling blank spaces. That's why I ran through Pitstop-variations (not all uploaded yet). Later I have to take C128 from closet and go through variations not played on original hardware yet...

hm well, I must admit I start to get sick of C64 games. Many of them but it seems many of them are just garbages or bad clones of existing games. Maybe your selection isn't good I don't know. Just played a dozen games you played these last days and they are all awful.

Next is Lethal zone, seems like a decent shooter. I'm trying to load the disk version right now but it doesn't seems to want to run :| I'm seeking a tape version if it exists. I lose a lot of time searching for the games themselves.

I don't know the games, I just go in the latest games you played, a lot of shitty games for now (I didn't even bother to post some of my scores as they are shitty as hell and games boring to the max or impossible to understand what to do in those)
