I don't think thiese behaviors should be considered normal as you don't use the same start points as the regular players. Game is meant to start at level 1, if bonus points are given when starting at later levels, this should be added in a new variation because imo this is unfair for other players trying to score starting level 1.

No probs. I am just doing it adhoc, so if you have others, I (or other admins) can adapt accordingly πŸ‘•

Yes, well possibly. I mentioned that in a couple of my previous plays because I wasn't sure what we should think.

In Toobin' , and a few other arcade games, I've seen the high point warps be used and allowed. Toobin' is what comes to mind atm, all the high scores take the free point warp at the start. I asked and concensus said it was ok.

Road Blasters allows you to warp mid game for big points.

At least in most games it awards you only after you beat the stage and without continues.

The actual game puts it all on one score table. I think the idea is that the other stages are harder so worth more, they take more practice to beat. but in most cases with a few extra trys it becomes quicker and easier to score big by taking the warps.

At least in Joust it's extremely hard. I got very lucky here.

But you might be right, I usually don't play this way but didn't resist.

On Road Blasters for this compilation I did a stage skip as well because the player on GameCube original hardware "or ps2" did also..

I don't expect different variations be added for this unpopular compilation disc, so I'm thinking it's ok in this instance to warp.. but maybe not.

I'll let the people decide.

I won't make a habit of it.

Anyone else feel free to give opinion.

It's not too late for me to delete my last few plays, and I'll just leave my no warp plays.

Thx

My camera ran out of space during the name input, so I didn't get to film the menu options or the system itself. So added pics.

I think we can all agree I had a Very lucky break on this stage.
