I have to say, I much prefer Tetris DX for GBC. Looking back, it's just so responsive, you can move the pieces around fast and its maybe a bit easier.

Well the "most optimal" level is certainly 9. Each Tetris is worth a lot more and once you get used to 9 it's actually not that fast anyway. We both reach Level 10 at the same amount of lines anyway no matter where you start. It doesn't feel that fast even when I hit Level 14 for example, except when you do have a miss-drop when you are already up high, then it was too fast for me to recover. But you get a lot more points per Tetris in Level 9 vs Level 6 and you will be stuck at under Level 9 for a lot of lines if you start at 6.

Today I had dozens of goes starting with Level 5 and make to score almost 160K , maybe the most optimal level to start with...
I made almost got 80K when game switched to Level 6, so this is my strategy to go forward with this magnificent puzzlle-brain-luck game!!!

Yes I noticed you started on Level 0 which puts you at a massive handicap (almost impossible to beat us when we started at Level 9
