Yes you are right about those great times, nostalgia simply kills me every time I remember those gloriuos days of my childhood, but back then in 1984. it was pretty expensive toy to got both things, and we must choose wisely (as Indiana Jones in the movie) and we choose Speccy and the rest is history... At the moment I am listening good old song from 1982 : Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance!!! Brings me back instantly in the past and those happy days!!!!

I feel more lucky that I'm older and got this console before the Spectrum came out, so I had both back then. But must admit I stopped using it once I got the Spectrum. When writing this, I got a warm feeling in my stomach. Those days were great :-)

I should have received exactly such a console from my father in the summer of 1984, but we still decided at the end of that year for a ZX Spectrum 48K (luckily)!!!
