as I understood from the video it's not modified, it's an official remake by Bally/Midway. 2000 units were produced for the USA.
According to KLOV website, the correct name is Fireball Classic (as stated on the photos on the website you linked).
If you don't know it yet, there is also Fireball II, released by Bally in 1981.

No,no... There is a glass as any other pinball protecting the game field...
I sad that guy who shot this video haven't show backglass(table score of this machine, which owns electrical scoring table) of this modified "Fireball" pinball machine... He only take footage of game playfield...
Sorry, maybe my english is not so good and maybe you haven't got me right...
I found the complete look of this machine at this site, here is the link:

Here is my new discovery about "Fireball" pinball machine...
There is a modified version of "Fireball" pinball machine from 1985. and it looks like this (YT video):
https://youtu.be/QL0i6S15nWs?si=dh9AwPe6i4mDRThF
Flippers are modern (longer) and makes game much easier than with short flippers in older version from 1972...
Also score table are electronical not mechanical as in older version, score table(backglass) not shown in this video but I found it on the net...

A "museum" will open in my area in mid-2024 with pinball machines and arcade cabinets. I might go and take a look and some video footage too.
And as I tend to say a lot, the older is the technology, the longer it can run. My mother still have a refrigerator from the 40ies (she only use it for beverages in an outdoor kitchen), working like a charm, except it's a bit noisy.

Here is a short footage video of original Bally's "Fireball" pinball machine, still in good working condition, you can say in near mint condition!
That guy is somwhere from Germany and it is so amazing to see that machine still working after 51 years!!!

the flippers close when you hit the blue pin and come back to their normal position if you hit a yellow one.
This table is really tricky
