I just played this game at another arcade and scored over 200,000 but it was a different version with the same name. The difference was it had multiple stages with bonus rounds in between. As where this score I posted is on the version which is one single never ending stage.

Update. Refereing to my no ticket complaint. I went back yesterday and played again. "couple weeks later" and it's now back to giving me the norm 500max ticket award for my skill. Which is great cuz i earned it and thats its deal.. So basically it only let's you milk it so much.. come back another day and it'll be back to normal. Good to know.


Reason I didn't post my latest play is because the score isn't as high as this one. But back to my 500 award. Makes each play a lil funner. Saved for some cool prizes.

The 7800 is a light gun system with a CRT TV and an Atari XE gun. It has a few light gun games already.

But technically the arcade isn't even light gun, it's just an analog controller shaped like a gun, since they are mounted and have no light sensor.

So really an analog joystick controller to move the crosshair like Atari 5200 Star Wars Arcade would be the most optimal thing.

Plus 7800 light guns need too much screen flashing.

Or it can just be a simple digital cross hair to use a dpad or standard joystick. Which wouldn't be arcade perfect but still fun.
The enemy could be slowed down some to make up for it.

Graphically it's just a bunch of 👾 .. perfect for Atari 👍

It gives you the digital tickets to your player card before you enter your name.

So it likely knows my player card. If I had purchased a new card instead of using this one again, I bet I could have got the tickets. But then those tickets wouldn't be combined with my other tickets so it would be pointless.

Mind Blow. My last few plays would reward the usual 500 tickets for getting a high score. I got 500 tickets for getting 2nd. But now when I finally reach 1st it decides I've had enough tickets and doesn't do the 500 ticket celebration.. only got 58 tickets "no bonus".. It's discriminating against me because I'm too good! ?

Who knew those Taito ppl would do such a thing. It must know it's me because my game card is linked to the same card I've been re charging for years. Where it keeps track of my digital ticket earnings..

I've won the 500 ticket bonus at least 6 times, 3 of those times being today.

I wonder if it's a daily limit or if it's really like nope this kid has won enough..

The game still flashes 500 ticket reward for high score, but i guess it's no longer serving them for me..

I'll have to try another day and see what happens. It's a fun game so I don't mind.

I play for points anyhow, but too bad this video didn't have the 500 win song and dance.
