Once again I must say WELL DONE for your collection!!!! I am really impressed!!!!
I know where Hamburg is, the biggest harbour of Germany for sure... Nice town even I have neven been there...
Here in Belgrade yesterday we had really TROPICAL temperature of almost 38 C degrees!!!
And later at evening we had such monstruous storm that I have never seen in my whole life!!!!
I was thought our house roof will fly away when wind start to blow!!!!
It was almost like scene in the " WIZARD OF OZ" movie when the storm starts and when a little later the house is sucked into the tornado!!!! I really felt that way for about 10-15 minutes!!! In the end, the storm bypassed us without major damage, while three people died in Croatia (Zagreb) from the same storm wave that arrived in Croatia before Serbia.

Emulation is a good opportunity to play all these old games. It's a fantastic hobby!
Owning (and buying) all these old computers are
-expensive
-you need much storing space
-you need to repair things now and than
But it's a lot of fun... and one can play old games with them :)

Yes, I remember original games were expensive back then, but in ex-Yugoslavia(now Serbia) we got no problem with that...
Game-Piracy was on high-level and games were available(cracked versions of course) just few days they have released in the UK!!!
Also those pirated versions were pretty affordable and available to the most kids in that era...
I remember that original hardware(computers) were pretty expensive and not available in my country back then....
You need to ask some of your friends who travels abroad (mostly West Germany or Austria) to get you computer and all other kind of hardware (joysticks, tapes and tape recorders)... Happy days!!! But nowdays I am pretty satisfied to play all those game via one of many emulators for any system I desire, maybe it's too late to start all over again with real hardware.... It's really nice to chat about good old days and many happy childhood memories!!! By the way, which town in Germany you are from?? I was in Munich(Munchen) once in 1990. just before Yugoslavia is fell apart... Wanted to buy Epson LX400 printer then for my Amiga but I give uo in the last minute....

I'm also a child of the 80s. All those games were incredible expensive back in time (at least for me). Now some child dreams come true and I'm able to buy these machines and games. :))

Nice story!!! It's seems to me like some kind of time-machine, going back straight to golden 80's : the best time possible to live and grow up!!! Definetely the best era of my life!!! Once again thanks for showing your Atari 800XL and your ATARI 2600 console!!! If by some chance I had a time machine (like Michael J. Fox in "Back to the Future") I would go back to those years and save all those computers I had once (Spectrum, C64 & Amiga)!!!! Cheers mate!!!!

I used a special dual screen setup with this game.
I recorded the CRT (you can see the laptop on the left side of the first photo which recorded), and played on the finlux LCD (from which I took screenshots with my smart phone).
But most of the time I'm too lazy and I only take photos.

I love to play on my old machines. I have a long range of Atari and other retro machines.
I cut the holes in the computer 20 years ago. I wouldn't do that today.

I used to own Speccy , C64 and Amiga... Nowdays play all games using various emulators on my PC....
