Blast Droids is an Asteroids type game for the Bally Astrocade. It was released in 1981 by Esoterica.
Deliberately designed to sound like Asteroids, the game similarities are only that your ship moves and fires in the same way. The aim is to destroy all the droids in each sector. Some sectors contain walls, others are in free-space and others are maze-like. Contact with any wall, droid or it's fire will cost you a life.
A simple game that progresses through the levels and droids. Again, another Bally Astrocade game that reminds me of the VIC-20, both visually and with its sound.
This run was made on the 2nd June 2023. The standard game (1. Game Play) was selected. The final score was 3,450 points. The emulator is an online version of MAME.
