Crystal Castles stars Bentley Bear as he attempts to collect al the gems and escape a series of castles. It is another well known arcade title from Atari. It was designed by Scott Fuller, with programming duties by Franz Lanzinger and Sam Lee.
It's another game that uses the track-ball, so a bit trickier to play with a joystick than normal.
This run was played using the Steam version of Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration on PC. The date of play was the 23rd April 2023. The final score was 24,979 points.
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is just that, a celebration of 50 years of Atari. Although there have been many Atari game compilations over the years, this one is the best yet, lovingly put together with many documents and features within it. It's like visiting an interactive museum.
