Atari's 1979 classic Asteroids as found in the compilation Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration. Asteroids was programmed by Ed Logg, from an idea by Kyle Raines and is regarded as one of the classic games of the Golden Age of Arcade Games.
This run was played using the Steam version of Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration on PC. The date of play was the 10th April 2023. The final score was 8,610 points.
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is just that, a celebration of 50 years of Atari. Although there have been many Atari game compilations over the years, this one is the best yet, lovingly put together with many documents and features within it. It's like visiting an interactive museum.
