I wish my old Hewlett Packard tower still worked. Had USB's but the mouse was the PS2 one like yours. I still have that adapter, too :D

I'd say it's still tough, I just tried it many times over and finally snuck in a good one.

The green adapter is to hook a USB mouse into an old non USB PC. It's still usefull if the computer has that slot, if only to free up some USB ports, but really I have no need for it today. I was using it on an old Dell where the USB mouse connection kept giving out, and the adapter worked better.. but that PC is no more, so the adapter just sits here for no reason! :)
