Specific Rules: The Amiga OCS/ECS and CDTV versions of *Xenon 2: Megablast* are very similar in terms of gameplay. Both versions feature the same five levels, enemies, bosses, weapons, shop system and overall difficulty. The CDTV version does not introduce significant gameplay changes and is essentially the original Amiga game enhanced with CD-based multimedia features.

The main difference is the audio. The original Amiga version uses the Amiga's sampled music and sound hardware, including its famous version of Bomb the Bass's “Megablast” theme. The CDTV version takes advantage of the CD's much higher-quality audio, providing CD-quality music and additional tracks. It also features digitised speech, particularly during the shop sequences, giving the game a more atmospheric presentation.

The CDTV release also includes additional multimedia content such as artist information, pictures and other CD-based extras. The graphics and gameplay, however, remain very close to the original Amiga version.

In short, the OCS/ECS version represents the authentic original 1989 Amiga experience, while the CDTV version offers essentially the same game with improved audio, speech and multimedia extras. Unlike an OCS/ECS versus AGA comparison, the differences here are mainly in presentation rather than gameplay.

No, this video I've made for Lemon Amiga Games Competition (Round 1) and autofire was allowed...
I will delete this entry if it's against the rules, but without autofire you simply have no chance to survive...
P.S.
It's my fault... I wasn't read the rules at all for this game and I will delete both of my entries caus'e both of them were with autofire on...
Thanks for pointing that to me, I don't want to win some score using cheating...
The Lemon Amiga Games Competition was allowed autofire but here that's not the case...

Is autofire default in this version?

I've only played it for Sega.
