Thank you!
Yes, the Space Bar is for shoot. And this is difficult to hold down on a real Oric-1, very tiring!

Guntus is a 2022 game from Japanese developer Inufuto. Inufuto has created a cross-platform system for producing games and Guntus appears on many systems - including many rare ones like the Oric and Aquarius.
Guntus is a Galaga like game. It features a tune that plays throughout. Each wave has different patterns of entry onto the screen, so you need to be careful where you place your ship. Your ship has complete freedom of movement over the screen, which is a nice feature. It is a fun game to play and very impressive to see a Japanese developer release a game for the Oric. I really enjoyed playing this. The only downside compared to the other versions is the Oric character movement is a little blocky.
This game was played using my Oric-1 48K. This game is much harder to play on an Oric-1 compared to an emulator as those Oric-1 keys are quite hard and keeping the space bar down was exhausting! The date of play was the 14th January 2023. The final score was 15,540 points.
Time stamps:
00:30 Title screen.
00:32 Game begins.
01:13 Extra life gained from a drop.
01:22 First life lost.
02:38 Second life lost.
07:12 Extra life gained from a drop.
07:44 Third life lost.
08:33 Extra life gained from a drop.
08:56 Fourth life lost.
10:38 Fifth life lost. Game Over. Final score 15,540 points.
