Centipede by PSS is a game based on the arcade game of the same name. It was released in 1983 and was written by John Marshall. It was one of the early Oric games and it runs on a 16K machine as well.

Overall this is a good little version of the game. Control of your character is very smooth and easy which makes playing the game very pleasant. The graphics are simple but clear, with the spider bouncing around nicely. Colour is a bit restricted - everything is white on blue. Sound is also a bit limited. Game-wise, the scorpion is missing but apart from that everything is there. A lot of fun this one and for users of 16K machines, this would have been one of the best games available.

This run was made on the 7th January 2023, while testing out a RGB to SCART lead made specifically for the Oric. This gives excellent picture quality compared to the standard RF output, so for anyone interested you can get them from a UK setup called Retro Computer Shack. Yes, I payed for this myself and no, I am not making an advert here! The game has no skill levels and the final score was 18,580 points.
