Following on from Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe, Atari visited the same formula again with a further evolution. This time the game adds colour, the asteroids are replaced with geometric shapes that change design from level to level, and the second player can either be a team mate or an opponent. The colour vector graphics was a nice surprise to me, and it it looks like 8 colours are possible in this game. The gameplay mechanic is identical to the earlier games, so you can easily just drop into this one and enjoy the new features. The game was released to arcades in 1982.
This is a single player mode run, played on the 15th December 2022. The game is being played using Atari Vault on PC. The score reached was 7,660 points.
