Sweet.
98% is a deal breaker. WTF?? I know about the invisible wall. Reminds me of C64 older games.
I only played Race Driver 3 online. It was awesome! It also taught me about fair racing. It slowed you down when ramming or cutting corners. Can't believe I don't do any online gaming at all. I bought a £6.99 PS+ package to race online, but I had to wait too long for a race, so gave up.
Next thing I knew, they had charged me £10.99 for at least 4 months. I cancelled and I got an email: "Thanks for your payment" !
Nice one.

👍
wow 100 %
That's a nice history.
Good thing you didn't have my version..
The U.S. ver of GT2 is impossible to get 100%. I read it caps out at 98.2.
That had to have driven some ppl insane trying to find the %2
The 2nd release fixed it along with another thing..
On a certain stage in simulation, the A.I. doesn't know the course and just stops at a wall 😆.. every time.
It tripped me out so I looked it up to find mine is just the buggy copy. Even has some spelling errors.
_
Interesting about the wheel, i haven't even tried a home steering wheel controller.
_
I've only played GT1 as the demo.
And I havent played GT5 or GTSport. Yet
_
I was into online with Project Gotham Racing 2 on original Xbox. That's actually the 1st time I was told to race clean. It made players mad when I would hit their car lol, so I learned the ability of sportsmanship.
That was the only and last system i played online. Didn't feel the need to "upgrade"
_
Lvlup is my online gaming today ;)
goes at my pace and has the classics.

Dude I know. Whoever that ghost driver is is damn good.

Cool stuff :)
I actually started playing in prison. GT 1, back in 1999.
I got 100% win ratio's on GT1 & GT2, took a long while.
Never played online, even though Sony took about £80 without me knowing.
Bought a wheel but it made me worse.
Just bought GT7 online, it never came.
Hardly play anything, these days. I've done them all!! :)
Nice one, mate.

GT2 is tough because I'm not using those guided red lines that tell you when to brake, like in Race Pro and GT6.
But the ghost racing is perfect for pushing you further

I found GT2 cheap after a friend gave me his PS1, was suprised how simular it is to GT3.
I still have my simulation mode save, I'll have to continue that sometime. I think I'm up to the endurance races.
But again. Now that I'm racing clean I'm really upping my experience for reals

Thx. And sure thing :)
I first got into GT on PS2 with GT3, and then GT4. Back when I had PS2.
So many cars in GT4. But it was disheartening when my data got corrupted. Which turned out to be an issue with GT4..
Later I borrowed my friends PS3 and GT6 and got to the Nascar section before I had to give it back..
My GT history has been lots of opponent ramming and wall riding.. just having fun abusing the game since it let's you lol..
The first game that I got into that forced me to play serious serious was Atari's Race Pro for Xbox 360. It's more Sim than Gran Turismo and you get major penalties for everything unsportsman.
I was progressing well until my 360 broke.
Many months later .. now GT2 is on lvlup so I'm back at it.
I kinda ignored disc 1 "arcade mode" until now
And you inspired me to play clean, "at least most of the time" because I want to get the most out of it.
Plus I want my races to look cool. 😎

That was excellent.
Tell me about your Gran Turismo history, please.
I'd like that.
