Yep. PS1 on the original big PS2 is counted as PS1 original hardware because there's a PS1 built into it.
But PS1 on the PS2 Slim is counted as emulation, as it doesn't have a PS1 built in but rather software emulation.
Is what I believe to be the case.
Either can be played here, but if it's the Slim model PS2 then has to go in PS1 emulation.
