Air-Sea Battle played in the Stella Emulator over a two day period in late May 2021. All games are played in the B / Novice difficulty setting. This can be seen in-game by the use of large missiles instead of small ones.

Air-Sea Battle was one of the launch titles for the Atari VCS in 1977 and was written by Larry Kaplan. There are 27 game variations on the cartridge, in six basic categories: Anti-aircraft, Torpedo, Fairground Shooting Gallery, Polaris (your ship versus fleets of aircraft), Bomber (your aircraft versus fleets of ships and finally, Ship vs Aircraft one-on-one.

This is one of the games I had as a child and I played it loads. Revisiting it here was good fun and very nostalgic. Even if you don't have the nostalgia glasses from playing it when you were young, it is still a good game today despite it's age and basic nature. If you can find another human to play against, you can have a good battle. Each game lasts only a few minutes, so it is a perfect quick stress relief aid for the busy modern day player!

Time Stamps:

In each case, I included the game selection evidence except game 15, where I forgot as I played game after game. Game 15 is Shooting Gallery, Unguided Missiles, against Computer, and you can tell this from the on-screen action.

Switch position was not recorded as B / Novice is large missiles (A / Expert is small missiles) and you can see each game is played with large missiles from the on-screen action.
